A 30-year-old Rosemount man already facing multiple charges following an incident in October 2017 when two teen boys were allegedly taken against their will to Treasure Island Resort and Casino is now facing three additional charges in connection to an alleged home invasion and attempted rape of a 79-year-old female in Minneapolis this past May.

Court records show Thomas Lee Kirven is charged in Hennepin County with one count of kidnapping, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of indecent exposure while confining or restricting a person's freedom.

He was already charged in Goodhue County with two counts of kidnapping, three counts of first-degree sex trafficking, one count of exposing a child or vulnerable adult to meth and two counts of false imprisonment in connection to an incident the previous October when two teen-aged boys allege he picked them up in St. Paul and forced them to go to Treasure Island.

There, the boys said Kirven and two other adults blew meth smoke in their faces and tried to give them a contact high while claiming they were trying to make a porno.

The most recent criminal complaint states the woman had been at home watching TV on May 1 of this year when she heard someone inside her home. She then reportedly saw a male - later identified as Kirven - walking down the stairs from the upper level.

The complaint states he walked toward the woman and "told her he was there to make her happy." He then allegedly threatened to sexually assault her, but she was able leave the house when he left the room.
