Troopers issued more than 700 citations and warnings for the hands-free law in just the first 10 days since the law went into effect.

The Minnesota State Patrol said troopers issued 740 citations and warnings for violations of the hands-free law in the first 10 days of August.

In addition to those citations and warnings, troopers also issued 88 citations and warnings for left lane violations during the same time period, according to the State Patrol.
