7 New Rides Come to Midway, Kidway at Minnesota State Fair

Midway thrill seekers can buckle up for seven new rides that are making their way to the Minnesota State Fair this year. 

The new rides include the Downdraft, the Haunted Castle Dark Ride, the Rock Star, the Super Frisbee, the Twin Flip, the Combination Carousel and a new teacup ride, according to a news release from fair officials.

The Combination Carousel and teacup ride are a part of the Kidway. 

Haunted Castle Dark Ride offers a two-level journey of animated frights and fears, according to fair officials. The ride was constructed in Italy and is the largest traveling haunted attraction in North America.

Those looking for more a thrill can try the Super Frisbee. The ride is a 52-feet high, with a rotating gondola. 

Along with the Super Frisbee, the Twin Flip offers "high-flying spins within spins" and is called a "thrill-seeker's dream" by fair officials.
