6 hurt in 3 separate shootings within an hour in Minneapolis

Minneapolis police say at least six people were hurt in three different shootings, all within 40 minutes of each other.

Six people are in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds. 

The condition of all the victims is unknown as of early Friday. 

The first shooting happened around 9:05 p.m. Thursday near Knox and Lowry avenues at a gas station. 

Minneapolis police said they responded to multiple 911 calls about shots fired. 

When they arrived at the scene, officers said they found a man on the ground who appeared to have been shot. 

He was taken to North Memorial hospital. 

The second and third shootings happened less than a mile apart. 

Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police responded to Franklin and Third avenues at a BP gas station. 

Officers said they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. 

About twenty minutes later, officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots near Chicago and Franklin avenues

Police found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital. Investigators said a bullet grazed another man and a fourth victim arrived on his own to the hospital with a gunshot wound. 

There's no word yet on whether any of these shootings are connected.
