5 EYEWITNESS NEWS investigates: Assault claims leveled against U of M professor

A University of Minnesota professor known for educational adventures around the world will be back in court on a domestic violence charge Friday.

Thursday night, Investigative Reporter Eric Rasmussen is hearing from more women who say that professor abused them as well.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has been investigating Aaron Doering's behavior since prosecutors charged him with domestic assault last month and accused him of strangling a woman who said she feared for her life.

Now, two more women who had relationships with Doering say he also physically abused them.

One incident sent a former girlfriend of his to the hospital.
