39-year-old victim struck by vehicle in Maple Grove identified

The 39-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle has been identified as Brent Humenik of Maple Grove. 

Humenik remains in the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, according to the Maple Grove Police Department.

The police stated that on Jan. 29 at 8:11 p.m., a 17-year-old driver, struck Humenik by Dunkirk Lane North and 89th Avenue North. 

The driver stayed on the scene and was being cooperative. 

The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
