Three killed in multi-vehicle crash in Western Wisconsin

Three were killed in a multi-vehicle crash Friday night in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, according to a press release from the county Sheriff. 


A motorcycle was traveling west on on State Highway 64 when it struck a car traveling north on County Highway T. Traffic on State Highway 64 has a right of way while those traveling on Highway T have a stop sign. 

The St. Croix County Emergency Communications Center had received a call moments before the crash however that the stop sign for northbound traffic on CTH T had been knocked down. 

The St. Croix County Sheriff's Office will investigate the crash and attempt to verify if the stop sign report was a factor in this crash. 

The driver of the car was identified as Thomas John Plasch, 55, of Oakdale, Minnesota. His passenger was Miriam Rosal Espinosa, 46, also of Oakdale.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Cody Lynn Cook-Terhurne, 34, of Somerset, Wisconsin.
