A witness reported seeing the suspect's vehicle in rural Cass County Thursday afternoon. BCA agents then confirmed the presence of the vehicle in a wooded area near Motley.

Shorty before 4 a.m. Friday the suspects were taken into custody and the children were located.

The TBI said Analia, Abigail and Michale were reported missing under suspicious circumstances Tuesday.

Authorities: 3 missing Tennessee children possibly headed to Minnesota

Essex and Christian were not legally allowed to have the children, according to the TBI.

They are currently in the Crow Wing County jail awaiting extradition to Tennessee.

"Thank you for helping us spread the word!," the TBI wrote in a tweet Friday.
