Next month, you can hit the slopes to help people who are transitioning out of homelessness.

The 21st annual "Bedrace for Bridging" event will take place on Saturday, March 9 at Buck Hill.

You and three friends can dress up and race down the Buck Hill slopes on a queen-sized mattress, which is provided by Bridging, to have fun and help a good cause. All registration fees, donations and funds raised by teams directly supports Bridging.

Last year, more than 140 teams raised over $113,000 for Bridging.

Registration and check-in start at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with racing beginning at 5 p.m.

There will also be a concert and awards ceremony later in the day.
