Two lucky Minnesotans started the new year in a big way.

The state's lucky streak continued as two people won $1 million in the Jan. 1, 2020 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle. That brings the total number of new millionaires in Minnesota to five in less than three weeks.

The latest $1 million winning tickets were sold at:

  • Cub Foods, 3245 County Road 10, in Brooklyn Center
  • Shell, 14301 Nicollet Court, in Burnsville

The Minnesota Lottery said the winning numbers in ascending order are:

  • 130851
  • 285337

Both businesses earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

More than 12,000 other players also won prizes in the Jan. 1 raffle, including five $100,000 winners.

Minnesota's lucky streak began on Dec. 16 when a $1.6 million Gopher 5 jackpot was won in Hermantown, followed by a $1 million Powerball win in Mankato on Dec. 18 and a $1 million Powerball win in Big Lake on Dec. 21.
