Two people were injured Tuesday evening after a shooting in North Minneapolis, according to police.

John Elder, a spokesman with the Minneapolis Police Department, said officers were called around 5:20 p.m. to the area of Broadway and Lyndale Avenues on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located two adults who suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. 

Both victims were taken to North Memorial Health Hospital.
