Two men were injured Saturday after a head-on all-terrain vehicle collision in rural Stearns County, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

The release said deputies and paramedics were called to residence on Stearns County Road 12 on reports of an ATV crash.


The sheriff's office says Anthony and Tyler Reverman, of Melrose, were driving ATVs on the same trail heading towards each other. When the came around a curve on the trail, the two ATVs struck head on.

Both were thrown from their ATVs. Neither were wearing helmets, according to the sheriff's office.

Anthony Reverman was taken to Melrose Hospital and is in stable condition. Tyler Reverman was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital and is listed in critical condition, according to the sheriff's office.
