15-year-old girl shot in St. Paul, expected to survive

Police are investigating after a teenage girl was shot Wednesday night in St. Paul’s Lexington-Hamline neighborhood.

According to the St. Paul Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 9:35 p.m. near Selby Avenue and North Dunlap Street. There they found a 15-year-old girl who had been shot in the stomach, and possibly in the back.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital and is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.
