1 killed, several others injured in St. Paul crash

Police are investigating a crash in St. Paul that left one person dead and injured several others.

St. Paul police said the two-vehicle crash happened at about 6:25 p.m. near the intersection of Lower Afton Road and Morningside Circle.

One person has been confirmed dead. Police identified the deceased as 18-year-old Sulekha Abdi of St. Peter. 

The cars were carrying a total of nine people, and others did suffer critical injuries, according to police.
