Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed following a crash in Chisago County Wednesday.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to the 300 block of Summit Avenue in Center City on the report of a single motorcycle crash.

When responders arrived, CPR was provided to the motorcyclist. 

The sheriff's office identified the motorcyclist as 66-year-old Ronald Carlson. Carlson was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

Carlson was wearing a helmet at the time and drugs, alcohol or speed are not believed to be factors.
