One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a rollover crash in Chisago County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Interstate 35.

An incident report said a Chevy Tahoe driven by Iman Nefertiti Abdullah was southbound on Interstate 35 when it drifted to the left side of the road. The report said the vehicle overcorrected and went into the ditch, where it rolled. 

The State Patrol said both the driver and passenger were thrown from the vehicle.

The incident report said the two occupants were not wearing seat belts at the time. 

State Patrol said Abdullah died from injuries suffered during the crash. Abdullah's passenger, Janae Marlene Lowe-Banks, suffered injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital.
