A juvenile is in critical condition after a shooting in Minneapolis Tuesday night, according to police.

The Minneapolis Police Department reported the shooting occurred at about 9:20 p.m. along the 1800 block of Lowry Avenue North.


Upon arrival, police found the juvenile male who appeared to have a gunshot wound.

The juvenile was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital by ambulance where he remains in critical condition.

Police spoke with several people in the area as investigators arrived at the scene.

Police said information about the victim "is being withheld for investigative reasons."
