1 Dead, 3 Hurt in North Minneapolis Shooting

A man is dead and three other people are injured after a shooting in North Minneapolis Friday night.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired near Washington Avenue North and North 21st Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Friday.

At the scene, officers found one man dead and another who was shot in the arm.

Two more people -- a man and a woman -- with non-life threatening gunshot wounds showed up to area hospitals, police said.

The suspect or suspects ran from the area before police arrived, according to MPD. The people shot have not been identified. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Hours earlier, a man was found dead with gunshot wounds in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis.
