One person was arrested after a stabbing incident occurred in Shakopee Thursday morning.

Shakopee Police Captain Chris Dellwo said officers were called around 6:30 a.m. to a home at Tyler Street and 12 Avenue West.


Dellwo said a man and woman were found outside of the home. One of the two suffered stab wounds. Both were taken to an area hospital.

Dellwo said a female suspect was found inside the home and was arrested. 

Two children were inside of the home at the time of the incident. The children were not injured.
