Snow totals are expected to be between 4-6 inches in portions of central, east-central, south-central and southeast Minnesota, where the advisory will be in effect.

A line from Redwood Falls to Mankato and Red Wing could see 6-7 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service, and the weather advisory may need to be upgraded to a weather warning in that area.

In addition to the snow, it’s expected to be a chilly weekend with high temps in the low 20s and Sunday’s low in the single digits.
