The amount of snow accumulation is expected to be around one inch in the Twin Cities and by 6 a.m. on Sunday, another one to two inches of snow before tapering off to flurries said Yuhas.
Yuhas also stated that the highest snow amounts will be south of the Minnesota River, with more than four inches towards southern Minnesota near the Iowa border.
The unseasonably cold weather with the highs being in the 30s and 40s and the lows in the 10s, 20s and 30s will continue into the last week of October with the warmer condition.
