Scattered thunderstorms likely Saturday afternoon

A warm but rainy weekend is expected throughout the Twin Cities.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, Friday night will end with a low temperature of 62 degrees with clear to partly cloudy skies.

Saturday will have a sun and cloud mix with scattered thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening. The chance for scattered thunderstorms stands at 60%. A high of 80 degrees and low of 62 is expected.

Sunday is forecast to be similar to Saturday with a high of 82 degrees and low of 62. Along with those temperatures, the chance for thunderstorms, potentially with strong gusty winds and hail, is at 60%.
