Snow, limited visibility and cold temperatures created hazardous road conditions Tuesday across Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol said 234 crashes, including 22 with injury and one fatal crash, were reported between 5 a.m. and noon. Another 44 vehicles spun off the road, and there were three jackknifed semis.

Minnesota State Patrol Sgt. Troy Christianson said the fatal crash happened around 7:12 a.m. in Maple Grove. The driver — identified as a 52-year-old man from Isle, Minnesota — died after his Chevrolet Silverado rolled over on Highway 610 near Elm Creek Boulevard. The victim's name is being held pending family notification.
