After a hot and humid Monday that saw us reach 90 degrees for the first time since last July, Tuesday is expected to get into the 90s again.

KSTP Meteorologist Ken Barlow said that heat and humidity will stick around and also bring some chances for severe weather later in the day Tuesday. The high will be around 92 with a low of 66 degrees.

The best chance for storms, Barlow said, is between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Hail and strong winds are the biggest concern.

The threat for tornadoes is low but there's still a chance one could develop.
