Minnesota will experience some heat for the next few days, with temperatures expected to reach high 90 degrees. Hennepin and Ramsey counties both have cooling centers for people who need help staying cool during the upcoming hot days.

Hennepin County has a handful of wading pools, public beaches, buildings, theaters, libraries and more that will help those who need to cool off.

According to Hennepin County, movie theaters—along with some pools, community and recreation centers—may have a cost for use. Therefore, people should ask each site about ticket prices or possible fees as well as restricted use and/or limited hours.

As for Ramsey County, several recreation centers and beaches are available for people to use during the humid and hot week.

Ramsey County also suggests those who go to any cooling center locations to check beforehand on whether those locations require a fee or are open to limited use.
