Minnesota Wild center Nick Bonino and defenseman Greg Pateryn met with the media, via Zoom, to discuss how they feel physically, getting back on the ice, and the upcoming season.

Bonino talked about how he can elevate his game in Minnesota, his thoughts on the shortened season, how he is adapting to the Wild, the growth he sees in Kevin Fiala’s game, and how the team is bonding with rookie Kirill Kaprizov.

Pateryn discussed how he is feeling physically, how frustrating last year was with injuries, what its been like skating with fellow defenseman Carson Soucy, how excited he is to be able to compete again, how he got hurt before the playoffs last year, and if his physical injuries impacted his mental health last year.

The Wild open their season Jan. 14 at Los Angeles.
