Tuesday was our first access this off-season to watching the Vikings work on the field. Organized Team Activities (OTAs) continue, with coaches getting a chance to work with players.

This is the first week for new head coach Kevin O’Connell and his staff to be on the field with the 90-man roster.
The most interesting position battles are right guard, safety opposite Harrison Smith, and cornerback opposite Patrick Peterson. Cam Dantzler ran with the first team with rookie Andrew Booth Jr. still recovering from sports hernia surgery. At right guard, Jesse Davis and Chris Reed rotated with the starters.
Note that Smith is away from the team with his wife set to give birth.
