Vikings 3rd round pick Cameron Dantzler adds depth to secondary

The Minnesota Vikings selected Mississippi State cornerback Cameron Dantzler in the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday night.

Danzler is 6-foot-2, 188 pounds and intercepted five passes and had 20 pass breakups in his three seasons at Mississippi State. He ran a 4.64 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

The Vikings bolstered their secondary with two cornerbacks in their first four picks of the draft. They took TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney with the 31st overall pick in the 1st round on Thursday.
