When Byron Buxton is on the field, he’s one of the most electrifying players in Major League Baseball. The major problem so far in his career – he’s not on the field enough.

Buxton has really only had one full season, when he played 140 games in 2017.

“To be able to play this game every day – you can’t take that for granted,” Buxton told KSTP Sports Director Joe Schmit at Twins Spring Training in Ft. Myers. “I cherish every bit – every second I have out here.”

Buxton signed a 7-year extension worth $100 million in the offseason. He hit 19 home runs in 61 games last season.
