Timberwolves agree to terms with Austin Rivers

The Minnesota Timberwolves agreed to terms with former Denver Nuggets guard Austin Rivers Thursday night.
Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly signed Rivers when he was the front office boss in Denver and brings Rivers to Minnesota on a 1-year deal worth the league minimum.
Last season, Rivers averaged 6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game with the Nuggets. Rivers is entering his 11th NBA season and the Timberwolves will be his seventh team.
