Source: Free agent DL Jonathan Allen expected to visit Vikings Monday

The Vikings are expected to host free agent defensive lineman Jonathan Allen on Monday, KSTP Sports has learned.

The Commanders released Allen on Friday.

In eight seasons with Washington, he recorded 42 sacks in 108 starts. He was a Pro Bowler after the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Allen, 30, was a 1st round pick in 2017.
