Patriots vs. Chiefs game postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases on both teams

The National Football League announced on Saturday that the New England Patriots vs. the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday will be rescheduled due to both teams having cases of positive COVID-19 tests.

The New England Patriots versus the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday will be rescheduled for next week on Monday or Tuesday. 

According to a statement from the NFL, both clubs will have consultations with infectious disease experts working closely with the NFL and the NFLPA to evaluate multiple close contacts, perform additional testing and monitor developments. 

"All decisions will be made with the health and safety of players, teams and gameday personnel as our primary consideration," the statement reads.
