The Minnesota State High School League will hold a special meeting Monday to reconsider fall sports.
MSHSL announced last Wednesday that its Board of Directors President, Blaine Novak, called a special meeting for 9 a.m. on Monday to reconsider the placement of fall activities seasons.
The meeting will be held virtually.
The announcement came on the same day the Big Ten Conference announced it reconsidered and will hold a shortened football season this year.
“The Minnesota State High School League continues its work of providing the safest possible way for students to participate in all League activities and athletics for the 2020-2021 school year,” League Executive Director Erich Martens said. “This special meeting called by Board President Blaine Novak will be a continuation of those very important discussions and decisions.”
Last month, MSHSL decided to move some fall activities amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which included moving high school football and volleyball to spring.
