MNUFC re-signs Eric Dick

Minnesota United has re-signed goalkeeper Eric Dick, the club announced Monday.

According to the team, the deal is a one-year contract with a club option.

Dick, 28, was chosen by Minnesota in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry draft last year.

In his first season, Dick earned two wins in two shutouts and started three games for MNUFC2. He also started the club’s U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 match against Union Omaha.

Before joining Minnesota United, Dick was the 13th overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by Sporting KC. He made his professional debut with Sporting KC’s USL affiliate that year but was then taken by Columbus Crew in the 2020 Stage 2 Re-Entry Draft.

In his pro career, Dick has made 45 appearances, including one start in MLS.
