Aerial Powers, who was signed by the Minnesota Lynx this off-season, will be sidelined "indefinitely" as of Wednesday with a strained left hamstring.
The team expects her to heal "in a few weeks," according to a team source.
Powers is a 2019 WNBA champion and a five-year veteran, playing for the Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics prior to signing with Minnesota.
In three games with the Lynx this season, Powers is averaging 27.4 minutes,11 points, 5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
In 107 career games, Powers has averaged 10.1 points on 40% shooting from the field, 0.8 steals and 3.2 rebounds per game in 107 games played.
The Lynx (0-3 in the Western Conference) currently hold the worst record in the WNBA.
