Minneapolis Henry spoils historic night at Humboldt with 13-6 win

The first ever football game played under the lights at Humboldt high school in St. Paul ended with the Minneapolis Henry Patriots spoiling the night stealing a 13-6 road win Friday night to remain undefeated.

Henry led 6-0 at halftime, when Harding/Humboldt tied the game in the third quarter with a touchdown run by Robert Htoo tying the score at 6-6.

Henry regained the lead in the fourth quarter with a rushing touchdown from senior running back Newmann Thomas putting the Patriots in front 13-6 which is how the score ended.

With the win, Henry improved to 5-0 on the season and will host Minneapolis South on Oct. 7.

Harding/Humboldt sustained their first loss of the season and is now 4-1 overall. The Nighthawks are at Minneapolis Edison on Thursday Oct. 6.
