Maple Grove routs Osseo in high school football opener

The Maple Grove high school football team lost in the 6A championship game last November. In other words, they’re uber-motivated to get back and win a state title.
The Crimson opened their season on Thursday night with a convincing win over Osseo, 45-7.

Osseo is led by future Gophers OL Jerome Williams, while the Crimson have future Gophers TE Sam Peters. He caught a 39-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
