Former Gopher Leslie Knight in Spain during Covid-19 pandemic

The coronavirus continues to make it's impression on peoples lives on a global scale, former Minnesota Gophers basketball player Leslie Knight is dealing with the pandemic in Spain. Knight is a professional basketball player there and has been in Europe for the past twelve years. Joe Schmit caught up with Knight recently.

Leslie Knight grew up in Minnesota. She won a state title with Hopkins High School before joining the Gophers basketball team in 2004. Knight played for the Gophers for four years, before heading to Spain to play professionally. Knight lives there with her husband, who she met while playing basketball.

Knights family resides in Minnetonka.
