The Wild will have a lot of questions to mull over in the offseason following their loss to Las Vegas in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Wild General Manager Bill Guerin will have to figure out what to do with the likes of Kirill Kaprizov, Kevin Fiala, and Joel Eriksson Ek who can become restricted free agents. Guerin also has to decide who to protect ahead of the NHL's expansion draft.

If the Wild decide to trade Zach Parise in the offseason it would free up $7.5 million dollars in cap space. Since Parise has a no-trade clause in his contract, he'd have to approve a trade to another team or to an expansion team if he's offered up in the expansion draft.

For now, Parise expects to finish out the remaining four years of his contract with the Wild.

"I'll be here in training camp next year," Parise said Tuesday morning. "There's never been any doubt in my mind that I can play the game and contribute to this team."

Parise was a healthy scratch in the Wild's first three playoff games against Las Vegas, but played well in the final four games.
