Gophers Wrestling preparing for season opener

Ahead of his seventh season as head coach of Gophers Wrestling, Brandon Eggum took time to talk with KSTP about the upcoming season, the lasting affects of heavyweight Gable Steveson’s on the program, as well as looking to the future of the team.
KSTP also spoke with redshirt seniors Brayton Lee and Patrick McKee about their goals for themselves and the team as whole.

The season slate officially gets underway on November 12th when the Gophers travel to Fargo to compete in the Bison Open.
They kick off the dual season at home on Nov. 20th inside Maturi Pavilion by hosting Binghamton for just the second meeting in program history between the two schools.
The schedule features six home duals.
