‘College GameDay’ headed to Minnesota for matchup with Michigan

For the second year in a row, "College GameDay" is headed to the Twin Cities.

College football’s premier pregame show will roll into town for the first week of the Big Ten season when the Golden Gophers take on the Michigan Wolverines in the Battle for the Little Brown Jug.

The University of Minnesota hosted "GameDay" for the first time ever last season ahead of Minnesota’s game against Wisconsin. The Badgers won 38-17 to clinch the Big Ten West title.

The show is going without one of its hallmarks this year because of COVID-19 — the massive throngs of fans that usually gather behind the set. However, fans can still sign up to join virtually.

"College GameDay" airs from 8-11 a.m. Saturday on ESPN, and the Gophers and Wolverines will kick off from TCF Bank Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on KSTP.
