Buxton & Maeda to start rehab stints with Saints

Twins outfielder Byron Buxton and starting pitcher Kenta Maeda will begin injury rehab assignments with the St. Paul Saints this week.

Buxton is expected to be in St. Paul's lineup Tuesday night when the Saints host the Omaha Storm Chasers at CHS Field. Buxton was placed on the injured list on May 7 with a right hip strain. He's hitting .370 with a .772 slugging percentage this season.

Maeda will be on the mound Wednesday night. He suffered a groin injury in his last start on May 22nd. Maeda is 2-2 with a 5.27 ERA in nine starts this season.
