Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck received another big committment for his 2021 recruiting class on Friday when 4-star cornerback recruit Avante Dickerson announced he'll play for the University of Minnesota.
Dickerson, a junior at Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska had offers from LSU, Ohio State and Nebraska among others.

ESPN's scouting service considers Dickerson the 46th best recruit in the country for the class of 2021 and the 4th best cornerback. He is also the top recruit in Nebraska. Minnesota currently has one of the best recruiting classes the nation.
