Rocori shows why they are the defending Class 4A champs, beating Hutchinson 28-8 on Thursday night in Cold Spring. Just think-- this game was nearly played at Monticello High School, due to the fact that Rocori High School was getting new field turf installed earlier in the week, then got five inches of snow dumped on it. No problem, the school not only got the field ready to go, but the Spartans christened it by beating powerhouse Hutchinson on a 12-degree night where everything went right.

Rocori senior Camdyn Bauer ran the ball and threw it at will and the Tigers defense had no answers on how to the stop the Spartans potent offense. Rocori led 21-0 at the half. Hutchinson didn't put one into the end zone until there was only :13 seconds remaining in the game.

Certainly a dominating performance by both the Rocori offense and defense as the team finishes the regular season perfect at 6-0. Rocori awaits the post season that starts next week.
