Quarterback Camden Dean had a big night for the victorious Cougars with four touchdowns - three on the ground and one through the air.

Dean helped South lead 21-7 mid-2nd quarter, but Shakopee even it at 21-21 before halftime.

Shakopee running back Jadon Hellrud's third touchdown of the game tied it again at 28 with ten minutes left in the game

From there, Josh Jacobson and Dean each scored touchdowns as South iced the victory.

Lakeville South remains undefeated at 11-0 after a second win over Shakopee this season. The Cougars beat the Sabers 30-22 back on October 14th.

Lakeville South moves on to the Class 6A semifinals and will face St. Michael-Albertville on November 19th at 7:00 pm at U.S. Bank Stadium.

It's the Cougars third consecutive appearance in the State Semifinals - having qualified in 2018, 2019 and this year following the cancelled postseason in 2020.
