Eden Prairie dominates second half at Minnehaha Academy to win battle of top-ranked teams

No. 1 in Class 4A Eden Prairie beat No. 1 in Class 3A Minnehaha Academy, 78-64 on Tuesday night in boys high school hoops. The Eagles finished the game on a 26-6 run to get the road victory. Minnehaha Academy led by six at the half, 31-25.

Eden Prairie was led by point guard Drake Dobbs, who had 19 points/7 assists (4-16 field goals, 9-12 free throws), John Henry 29 points/7 rebounds (9-17 fg, 7 three-pointers), Connor Christensen 12 points/8 rebounds, and Austin Andrews 15 points/7 rebounds (5-11 fg).

Minnehaha Academy was led by guard Jalen Suggs, who had 23 points (8-17 fg, 7-10 ft), Hercy Miller 19 points/5 rebounds/5 assists (6-10 fg), and Chet Holmgren 11 points/12 rebounds/6 blocks (5-5 fg).

The Eagles remain undefeated.
