Class 6A Football Quarterfinal: Maple Grove dominates Woodbury

The Maple Grove Crimson defeated the Woodbury Royals 31-12 on Thursday evening, at Eden Prairie High School, in the Class 6A quarterfinals. 


Maple Grove senior running back had two long touchdown runs, including a 74-yarder, to lead the Crimson's ground attack. 

In the air, junior wideout Sam Peters caught an 82-yard touchdown pass for Maple Grove. 

Then, junior quarterback Jacob Kilzer scored the final Crimson touchdown on the gorund to put the game away for good. 

Maple Grove will play the winner of Eden Prairie-Farmington in the semifinals next Thursday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
