Class 6A Football Quarterfinal: Eden Prairie too much for Farmington

The Eden Prairie Eagles defeated the Farmington Tigers 17-7 Friday evening, at Chanhassen High School, in the Class 6A high school football quarterfinals.

Eden Prairie went up 7-0 in the first after a Tyler Walden touchdown run. Then, Eagles tight end Jermell Taylor caught a touchdown pass to make it 14-0 Eden Prairie in the first quarter. 

In the second, Farmington made it 14-7 following a Rod Finley touchdown run. But, Eden Prairie's defense shut down Farmington from there on out to seal the victory. 

The Eagles will face Maple Grove in the semifinals on Thursday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. inside of U.S. Bank Stadium.
