Girls State Basketball: Chaska rolls past Stillwater thanks to Kennedy Sanders 31 point effort

Sophomore guard Kennedy Sanders powers the Chaska Hawks over the Stillwater Ponies in the Class 4A quarterfinals 75-57. Sanders 31 points led all scorers and Stillwater had no answer in trying to stop the tenth-grade phenom.

Stillwater cut the deficit in the second half to seven points 47-40, courtesy of a Amber Scalia 3-pointer, but the Ponies wouldn't get any closer as Chaska ran away with this game beating Stillwater by 18 points.

Now Chaska will face Hopkins on April 7th at Target Center in the Class 4A semi-finals.
