Little Falls (14-5-1), the No. 4 seed coming into the tournament, fell to unseeded Dodge County 4-1 in the second semifinal of the day.

Little Falls got on the board first, with a goal from junior defenseman George Moore, at 16:40 of the first period. From then on, it was all Dodge County. Senior defenseman Charlie Blaisdell tied the score at 6:10 of the second period. Less than four minutes later, the Wildcats went up 2-1 on a power-play goal from junior forward Brody Lamb. Junior forward Matt Donovan won the faceoff, passed to Lamb, and Lamb beat senior goalie Dane Couture with a shot over his shoulder.
